WHEN WOULD YOU LIKE TO STAY?
Highly recommended for warmth, comfort, hospitality and ideal location. Just 2 minutes walk from good restaurants, pubs with music, heritage centre, bus stop and Internet access. The picturesque villages of Glandore, Castletowshend, Baltimore, Schull in West Cork and the unique Lough Hyne - all around 15 minutes drive. The Mizen Head visitor centre, Bantry House, Glengariff and Garnish are also close by. There are daily ferries to Cape Clear and the Sherkin Islands. An 18 hole golf course and sandy beaches just 5-10 minutes away. Sunnyside is approved by the Irish Tourist Board, Brittany Ferries, Numerous Guides and the many guests that return year after year.
Cathy was so pleasant and friendly, our room was just right and breakfast was delicious. Sunnyside is right near town and Cathy will tell you what places have live music. The Heritage Center is very interesting. Great spot.
Friendly, clean with an excellent breakfast
Because of the one-way system Cathy's could be hard to find but the directions given are adequate. The Accommodation is only a few hundred metres from the main street of the town We had a warm welcome from Cathy. The bedrooms and lounge/breakfast room were clean and tidy and simply decortated. Bed was comfortable but the en-suite was a little cramped approx. 2.00 m by 0.80 m small shower and loiwer than normal toilet. Breakfast was excellent
Located at the end of Mardyke - a residential street off Main Street.
Driving Directions: Drive through the town centre following signs for Baltimore R595. At the roundabout where you see the Volkswagen Garage (Leonard Motors) take the R595 for around 200 metres - the first turning right is Mardyke Road - after short while turn right into Mardyke Street - Sunnyside is on your right and the town centre and Tzar Pub is at the end of the street.
